Ollie Ollie Oxen Free

Once, I hid
In darkened rooms and well lit halls.
In slumber and the somnolence of a self induced haze.
In silence and solitude
In crushing noise and crowds.
In the inferred personage of others desires.
Once, I hid
From projected fears.
From unearned ridicule.
From dismantlement or disappointing.
From expectation or expectations.
From responsibility or regrets.
Today, I run for home.
